McDaniel College never looked back, cruising to an easy win on the strength of a 40-5 first half. Freshman, Kristy Costa (Galloway, NJ / Absegami) came off of the bench to score 18 to lead McDaniel’s offense. The guard sank eight of nine shots from the field, and hit on two of three free throws. Stephanie McPherson (Catonsville, MD / Woodlawn) also scored in double figures, posting 12 points for the Terror 01/11/2003 McDaniel 80, Bryn Mawr College 40 Bryn Mawr College provided little obstacle to the McDaniel College women’s basketball team, which walked to an 80-40 victory at the Gill Center on Saturday. Haverford center Erin McCartney led the Fords with 11 points after shooting 3-5 from the field and 5-6 from the charity stripe. 01/20/2003 McDaniel 87, Gallaudet University 46 Freshman, Kristy Costa, (Galloway, NJ / Absegami) was the squad’s leading scorer, registering 13 points and seven rebounds. 02/01/2003 McDaniel 62, Muhlenberg College 63 Toby McIntire led McDaniel with 15 points, tying with Tis for the game-high. Kelly Cramp and Kristy Costa each scored 12 on the afternoon. 02/08/2003 McDaniel 80, Ursinus College 61 McDaniel’s offense was sparked by five players scoring in double digits, including three seniors playing in their final home regular season game. Kris Brust (Marriotsville, MD / Glenelg) scored a McDaniel high 13 points, followed by fellow seniors Jen Piccolomini (Shepherdstown, WV / St. Maria Goretti) with 12, and Erin White (Broomall, PA / Marple-Newtown) with 11.
