The Green Terror started the game with an 18-0 run, sparked by Kelly Cramp (Pennington, NJ / Hopewell Valley Central), who scored the bulk of her 11 points in the first 10 minutes. McDaniel College never looked back, cruising to an easy win on the strength of a 40-5 first half. Freshman, Kristy Costa (Galloway, NJ / Absegami) came off of the bench to score 18 to lead McDaniel’s offense. The guard sank eight of nine shots from the field, and hit on two of three free throws. Stephanie McPherson (Catonsville, MD / Woodlawn) also scored in double figures, posting 12 points for the Terror

Bryn Mawr College provided little obstacle to the McDaniel College women’s basketball team, which walked to an 80-40 victory at the Gill Center on Saturday. Freshman, Kristy Costa (Galloway, NJ / Absegami) led the Green Terror offense with 15 points.

McDaniel Sophomore Kelly Cramp led all scorers with 14 points on 6-11 shooting, and freshman Kristy Costa was one rebound short of her first collegiate double-double, ending the night with nine rebounds and 10 points. Haverford center Erin McCartney led the Fords with 11 points after shooting 3-5 from the field and 5-6 from the charity stripe.

Freshman, Kristy Costa, (Galloway, NJ / Absegami) was the squad’s leading scorer, registering 13 points and seven rebounds.

Toby McIntire led McDaniel with 15 points, tying with Tis for the game-high. Kelly Cramp and Kristy Costa each scored 12 on the afternoon.

McDaniel’s offense was sparked by five players scoring in double digits, including three seniors playing in their final home regular season game. Kris Brust (Marriotsville, MD / Glenelg) scored a McDaniel high 13 points, followed by fellow seniors Jen Piccolomini (Shepherdstown, WV / St. Maria Goretti) with 12, and Erin White (Broomall, PA / Marple-Newtown) with 11. Kelly Cramp (Pennington, NJ / Hopewell Central Catholic) and Kristy Costa (Galloway, NJ / Absegami) each added ten points for the Green Terror. Ursinus’ Julia Tramontana (Haddon, NJ / Haddon Township) led all scorers with 14.
